1) Scope

This policy applies to the DealBeacon mobile application. If you use DealBeacon to open third-party links (such as retailer links), those third parties have their own privacy policies.

2) Information we collect

A. Information you provide

• Account information (when connect your NobelRoute account): email address, password (stored as a one-way hash).
• Affiliate information: affiliate store ID.
• Support communications: information you include when you contact us (messages, screenshots, logs you choose to share).
• Subscription and entitlement signals: if you subscribe through an app store, we receive confirmation (e.g., receipt/transaction identifiers and subscription status) needed to enable features.

B. Deal and link-related data

• Outbound link handling: When you open a deal, we may route you through a link that enables attribution, deep linking, or compliance disclosures.

C. What we do not intentionally collect

• We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information (e.g., government IDs, precise location, biometric data).
• We do not intentionally collect payment card numbers. Payments are handled by app stores or payment processors.

3) How we use information

We use information to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Services (including showing deals and enabling app features).
• Create and secure accounts, authenticate users, and prevent fraud or abuse.
• Process subscriptions and manage entitlements (e.g., determine whether affiliate features are enabled).
• Improve performance and reliability (debugging, crash analysis, monitoring).
• Communicate with you (support, service notices, policy updates).
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

4) Cookies and similar technologies

Our website may use cookies or similar technologies for essential functionality (e.g., session login), security, and basic analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Some features may not work properly if cookies are disabled.

5) Sharing and disclosure

We share information only as needed to operate the Services:

• Service providers: hosting, monitoring, analytics, email delivery, and customer support tools that help us run DealBeacon.
• App stores and payment processors: to validate subscriptions and manage entitlements.
• Legal and safety: when required by law, to respond to lawful requests, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
• Business transfers: if we’re involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

We do not sell your personal information.

6) Affiliate links and third-party retailers

DealBeacon may include links to third-party retailers. If you click a retailer link, the retailer may place its own cookies or tracking technologies, and the retailer’s privacy policy will apply. DealBeacon does not control those third parties.

7) Data retention

We keep information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including to comply with legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. We may retain server logs and security records for a limited period to protect the Services.

8) Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, misuse, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9) Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

• Access, correct, or delete certain personal information.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

10) Children’s privacy

DealBeacon is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age required by your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

11) International users

If you access the Services from outside the United States, your information may be processed and stored in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate. These locations may have different data protection laws than your country.

12) Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll post the updated policy here and update the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Services after changes become effective means you accept the updated policy.
